Klimt 1918 Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again
Voto:
Here I am again, voting on another review of klimt 1918. The review is really well-written (5), but I don’t think I will like the album. I listened to the two previous albums and (especially Dopoguerra) they didn’t excite me; the songs are very (too) easy-listening and the singer's voice reminds me of one of the many "bands" that crowd the MTV lineup for the delight of teenage girls in puberty.

The review needed to be more emphatic, elaborate, and obscure. As for the release date, I believe the answer is quite simple and lies in the type of emotions that Funeral offers, emotions that cannot be felt and endured by everyone but only by those who are already seized by them and find in the genre a release valve. Most likely, for various reasons, with the summer these emotions are "more alive" than in other seasons...

The review is very good even if declaring Vasco a national monument is a bit like saying that the garbage from Naples should be considered a world heritage site by UNESCO... I do not doubt that some songs are beautiful, but I believe that the only true fans are the long-time ones; the rest is just useless trash, gaudy and lacking any personal critical taste (just like the girl who was next to you...).

Beautiful review and a beautiful album. Perhaps the female vocal part is a bit too prominent, but it fits well within the context of the CD. The best song, however, is definitely Varen Ka.

Beautiful review. The album is very nice even though, at least the version I got (through back channels), wasn't recorded exceptionally well...
Novembre The Blue

Beautiful album. This time they've given more prominence to the guitar parts (the arpeggios are splendid). However, I find that in this album they somewhat overused the interplay between clean vocals and growl, an interplay that in the end can make the tracks seem a bit all the same. Overall, it's a great album. If you've decided to get to know the band only now, I recommend examining their previous masterpieces first.
P.S.: it's true that in some ways they resemble Katatonia, but (not out of regional pride), between the Swedish band and Novembre, I prefer the Italians.
