1) I don't see what darkwave has to do with gothic; they are two different genres. 2) Within Temptation and Epica are symphonic metal (except for the first album by Within) and not gothic. I haven't listened to the opera, but since it's a compilation, I'm not excited about it. Also, the name and the cover are really terrible.
