@TAXIRIDER: This is the band's second album.
I haven't said much about the record because there’s really not much to say; this is an album of pure death doom metal, heavy and almost catacomb-like. It doesn't make sense to describe the various tracks; they are all perfectly the same. It's a bit like Watching From A Distance by Warning, only here we're talking about death doom.

Good review. I'm not a fan of funeral doom either (my favorite genre is death doom) and until now I've only appreciated the last two works of Shape Of Despair, but I think I'll give a listen to Stream From The Heavens.

Wow... the track "la scala" even opens with a piece of guitar!! Unseen stuff... One day you'll tell me what the meaning behind a work like this could be..?

I'm going crazy here on Debaser trying to find an amazing piece of apocalyptic folk (just to get a solid grasp on this genre once and for all), and since you seem to be an expert, what would you recommend?

A textbook review... however, based on what I've heard on YouTube and what you say in the review, I don't understand why you included apocalyptic folk among the genres (not that I'm an expert, but the sound seems to me to be oriented, as you yourself say, towards pop).
