Okay, I know I'm asking something strange... I've been circling around jazz for a while, but I've never ventured into it... I’d like to ask if you know any jazz albums that sound nocturnal, smoky, melancholic, sad, and dark throughout, without particular virtuosity or deconstruction... do albums like that exist?

I had already written it, it was shorter but said the same things... I still have to listen to the album properly and decide whether to round up or down...

funeral funeral and funeral lately... the issue is that I'm drawn to the proposal but in practice, I always find too many difficulties in enjoying these works.

I don't like the funeral (shape aside)...I don't know if I'll try it, anyway, better them or the evoken?

Look, the first album is a cult object, but I prefer the second one—better arranged and produced with a better sound without losing the spirit (truly dark) that characterizes the band.

@hell: if I were you, I'd take it easy with those bets... ah, you probably already know them, but if you like deathspell, give a listen to Mutiilation, they're not very similar but it's a band I recommend to pretty much everyone since strangely they're almost unknown.

never liked them...my thoughts go to the agalloch, I hope they at least manage to escape the mediocrity of the releases from the 2009-2010 period...in the metal scene, very few are saved...
