Current 93 and Nurse With Wound Bright Yellow Moon

Great review. I listened to the album a couple of times years ago and, like you, I wasn't particularly impressed. "Walking like shadows" is still a beautiful song that Tibet has performed multiple times live (my favorite version is from "Live At St. Olave's Church", the one with Antony). Here’s a part of the lyrics:
"We all speak
Unknown languages
To each other
We're all half dead

The motion of the hand
The skeletal grace
Unconscious
Under bright yellow moon

We are walking like shadow
You and I
You and I
We're walking like shadow
You and I"

Cute, but their best remains a dead sinking story.

a movie that I really liked, excellent cinematography, a very straightforward and easy plot but still engaging, and Cotillard, besides being stunning, is truly magnetic, a great actress. Wilson also held his own, while I did not appreciate at all the dubbing of the actor who played Hemingway.

I hadn't approached it for fear of another disappointment... but if we talk about it positively (or rather, not negatively). Unfortunately, in these times, if you want to listen to death/doom/gothic, you have to settle...

I only know a couple of sonatas and the nocturnes by him... I've never heard this one.
