A 4 and a half for the review, I was very impressed by your comparison to Bowie; I agree with you, particularly seeing the Arcade Fire alongside Bowie’s electronic trilogy of Low, Heroes, etc. As for the Arcade Fire, they might be the best emerging band of recent years. Personally, I consider Funeral and Neon Bible to be two different albums, but I can't pinpoint which one is weaker; I like them both! That's why Neon Bible has a special mention for "No Cars Go."

It may not be the most beautiful album in history, but damn, we're talking about Hotel California!! There's not just Hotel California, New Kid in Town, the spectacular Wasted Time (which even has a reprise within the album, The Last Resort... A full 4!

Congratulations on the review, one of the best written around here... The album is nice but not Alice's best, definitely inferior to various killer tracks like "School's Out" etc... But absolutely a must-have... Fiamma Bob Ezrin
