How do we joke? You were really great for me.
Motörhead 1916
Voto:
a good dusting off of a classic often overlooked... I really like it a lot, I consider it undoubtedly the best work by Motörhead of the '90s, which I find much more credible here than in the subsequent March or Die, truly poor in my view. I do not agree with the term heavy metal that you mention a couple of times in the review; Lemmy and the gang are children of rock'n'roll. If I had to assign a genre, I would lean towards hard rock (but in the end, it’s rather a sterile regulatory issue).

So it's a sort of best of from the period '53-61?
Sly and the Family Stone Stand!

I listened to the album only once, one or two months ago, and although it’s somewhat distant from my usual tastes, I was pleasantly impressed. However, I still can’t quantify my judgment! Nice review, well done.

I am infinitely sorry for not knowing this album, but I greatly appreciate the artist and I know several of the songs on the setlist! Personally, I don't consider him a classic bluesman, but rather a musician who has made a personal mix of soul, r'n'b, blues, jazz, and a lot of passion and talent his winning weapon! What year are we talking about for this LP?
Van Morrison Blowin' Your Mind!

Great story, I like the album in question quite a bit, not a few months go by without giving it a listen! I think I read somewhere some time ago that Van and his wife got quite angry not only about the album's release but also about the cover that referenced the prevailing psychedelia of that time and implicitly to drugs!
Ramones Pleasant Dreams

sooner or later I will delve deeper into it, the review is good even if sometimes a bit repetitive! I do not share the enthusiastic statement involving Elvis!
John Lennon e Paul McCartney A Toot and a Snore in '74
Voto:
very interesting, I didn't know anything about it. It also feels strange to hear about Paul and John being together again after the Beatles, especially after some rather sharp jabs from John about "imagine" ("how do you sleep?" if I'm not mistaken)
Wings Band On The Run

I still have to listen to it, but I completely agree with what you say about the unchanged freshness of "year of the cat," a little gem! Nice review, but a bit too brief for my tastes!
The Allman Brothers Band Live at the Atlanta International Pop Festival: July 3 & 5, 1970

I believe the double incident really happened; at least I've never come across a denial! I don't have that, but hats off to the band!
