The quote by De André seems out of place to me, but the review remains beautiful... I discovered this album a few days ago thanks to a friend who is moving and doesn’t know where to put dozens of editions of Mucchio Selvaggio. Just a few listens so far, but it seems sensational. I had never delved into this album because after Swordfish and Rain Dogs, I thought I had heard everything this artist has to offer... Beyond the judgment I still need to form clearly, I was wrong...

I keep finding this title more and more often in front of me, I'm sure I'll get it.
Soundgarden Down On The Upside

In my comment, I didn't mean to take anything away from the greatness of the band; it was just a personal consideration, no doubt about it. Anyway, I always prefer not to skip tracks; an album, in my opinion, should be enjoyed from beginning to end, allowing the band or artist to fully develop their narrative... Superunknown, I reiterate, is a great album, but if it had about fifteen minutes less, it would have appealed to me more... Beyond that, what can I listen to from Sound apart from Superunknown?

In my opinion, the point is really about duration, at least partly. I've never listened to this album, but I own Superunknown, which, although I consider it a great album, is really too long; this band is too verbose. Sometimes, the greatness of a band lies in being able to encapsulate their best in those 40 minutes. SOMETIMES. Of course, when Dylan or Waits or The Who have that stroke of genius, I can enjoy them for hours, but I don't think Soundgarden are a band that should have albums over an hour long.

I might have listened to it as a 13-year-old about ten years ago; I hardly remember anything about the album except that it was quite bleak and harder compared to the previous ones... if I get the chance, I'll borrow it.

Ah, a concert with beautiful people lounging comfortably loses a lot...everyone standing for God's sake!

Well, Villa Contarini is truly splendid; it looks a bit like the Palace of Versailles. I was moved when I saw it for the first time a couple of days ago...the staircase seems pretty much like last year's one...what do you think of the voice instead?
