Black Sabbath Born Again
Voto:
But let's not kid ourselves, this is a three-star album at best... the Black Sabbath have made significantly better albums. If this record is five stars, then Paranoid or the first one must have 10 stars!!! Ian Gillan is a great singer and professional, but he doesn't shine in Black Sabbath, let's be honest, with Deep Purple it's a whole different music!
Old Man River Good Morning

This record is truly mediocre; however, Australia has produced great artists who unfortunately are mostly unknown in Italy: Jimmy Barnes, Cold Chisel, Kasey Chambers, The Church. Then there are also the famous ones who are very talented and perhaps someone is even genius: INXS, Nick Cave, AC/DC...

David Bowie "Heroes"
Voto:
David Bowie is one of my favorite artists, I’ve seen five of his concerts and I love a big part of his work. I have all his albums and a lot of other material, including a dozen bootlegs. This album is the best for me, the review is very well done, the only flaw is the length; the content is almost flawless. Well done!!
Tangerine Dream Phaedra

This album is extraordinary, it hasn't played in my Rotel for at least 8-10 years, but I remember it being one of their best albums alongside Rubycon. Today I feel like listening to it again!!! Edgar Froese, in my opinion, is one of the greatest cosmic musicians...
Todd Rundgren Todd
Voto:
To say it’s a misstep is a bit too much; on many things, I agree with your opinion. However, the album is generally a good record; it’s certainly not a mediocre or uninspired album. In my opinion, it deserves 3 and a half stars.
Todd Rundgren Faithful
Voto:
It seems to me that three stars for the above-mentioned album is too few. I know this album very well; it's extraordinary precisely in its covers, not in Todd's songs, which are still interesting. Some covers sound incredibly like replicas of the original pieces; Todd intentionally made this choice to perfectly imitate the original versions. He probably wanted to showcase all his technical skills. Strawberry Fields Forever is very beautiful, Good Vibrations is incredible; overall, they are all excellent. Todd's songs are nice, not outstanding. For me, the rating for the covers is 5 stars, while the rating for Todd's pieces is 3 stars.
Journey Infinity
Voto:
I'm sorry Senmayan, I need to correct you; it’s a bit serious that a reviewer doesn't have a good grasp of the history of the band they're reviewing. Steve Smith joined Journey's lineup shortly after this album, not with Escape as you claim in your post. After the album Infinity, the first drummer Ansley Dunbar left the band and was replaced by Steve Smith. Steve Smith played a bit before Escape, exactly from the album Evolution in 1979.

Before commenting on the review, I must say: "I've always appreciated U2, but I also say that the albums after 'Zooropa' aren't that great and often the effect, even after many careful listens, has remained bittersweet or even just harsh." Now I'll write a few comments about "War." This album is one of U2's great works. War is one of the records that marked the early eighties; the lyrics and music, in their simplicity, were (and are) beautiful. Even the cover has a profound meaning (just compare it with the "Boy" cover) just like the rest of the album. It's a shame that some people on this site critique the album with arguments that don't hold up, showing that often criticism is given just to be contrary. Pure superficiality, criticizing without justifying why something is being criticized. The album deserves 4 and a half stars.
