Nice album. Not quite on the same level as the previous two I reviewed, but still enjoyable, keeping in mind that it's quite commercial since it aimed to break into a market, the global one, which is certainly not a welcoming environment. The tracks in Spanish on the album are, in my opinion, the best.

I'm glad... it's nice to have a wide range of interests. Anyway, if you listened to Shakira's non-commercial songs, those on the albums, you would discover that she has indeed created pop sounds, but she was also the first to blend it with rock (Si te vas, Don't bother), bossa nova (Para obtener un sí), tango (Te aviso, te anuncio), cumbia (Hips don't lie), salsa (Mis dias sin ti, Ciega sordomuda), Arabic music (Ojos asì), and above all Andean sounds, without falling into folk or being confined to a single genre (see Inti Illimani)... and if we talk about the lyrics, well, then we must mention How do you do, Timor, Inevitable, No creo, Octavo dìa...

I don't want to tell the plot because if someone hasn't seen it yet, they can watch it... if I gave the movie a 5, it means I liked the direction, the cinematography, etc... If it had been a Vanzina film with the usual characteristics of a holiday movie, it would have been nonsense, and I wouldn't have given it a 5. It's an overall rating of everything.
