Thank you Tele, thank you Jargon, I remember you asked me a while ago if I would write this review... It took me a while because I had other albums on my mind and because "Arriving Twice" is a bit of a peculiar album, thus not very easy to describe adequately, but in the end I found the right inspiration. Cheers! :)

@supersoul: 1?? I don't think so! Definitely not for the eponymous Titus Groan, and regarding your review, if it stays at the level of the last one you posted about Happy Family, I don’t think you need to fear ratings lower than 4. See you at your next release then...I believe we'll all be there...Jargon included :)

It's a shame that the vast majority of prog enthusiasts do not make the effort to seek out new bands beyond those that have made history in the genre. I understand those who claim that music came to a standstill at the end of the '70s because the new representatives of prog lack visibility, so fans are not even aware of their existence. However, if they were a bit more interested and had the courage to venture into some new listening, they would truly benefit... I have the Canterbury sound running through my veins, but I don't disdain the other facets of the genre and I find it easy to consider this (as well as the studio releases) a very valid work, even though it's not exactly within my wheelhouse and doesn't belong to the golden age of prog that we all remember with such nostalgia (at least musically speaking).

The green manalishi brings to my attention that this album got a 4 in the review... I had assumed that no one would take away the 5... splinter, I have the feeling that you have somewhat unclear ideas about it...

"...thanks to sweet guitars and great keyboard melodies." But what does that mean? That if a track is characterized by melodic sounds of guitars and keyboards, it automatically becomes psychedelic? I don't understand the reasoning... Can someone explain it to me?

Fabulous album... surely one of the peaks reached by the Canadian group... I don’t really understand the phrase "Madrigal with its only 2 minutes and a half gives another moment of pure psychedelia".....???????

May I be struck by lightning if I'm not listening to it right now!

First of the three albums (2112, A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres) in which the prog sounds take over the hard sound of Rush. Although perhaps the following ones align more closely with my personal tastes, I still consider this a masterpiece.
