Thanks again, everyone! ThirdEye enjoy the virtual toaster... luckily I already have one... I could use a hammock with attached trees and maybe an FTL filter for hyperspace travel... if Doc could take care of it..(^_^) @paloz: Thank you, very kind.. :)

Sure, your reasoning is spot on, but keep in mind that I'm reviewing my favorite albums. I know plenty of prog or Canterbury records that aren't in the deDatabase, but I prioritize those I consider the best... so it’s not too surprising to see that the albums I’ve reviewed are rated 4 or 5 stars. The ones that are more "average" I’ll recommend in due time... no rush ;)

The solar-powered virtual toaster should be the grand prize... but since it's virtual, I don't know what you could put inside it... well... let's wait for the doctor for clarifications...

Thanks for the compliments! Doc, let me understand, will this be the new game of the summer? (^_^) Personally, I don’t get the connection between the static close-up (the hand with the saucer) and the background with all the foam in motion. As for the colors, I’m not a fan of the ones chosen for the text, but oh well... If you post the solution to the riddle, please make sure to write it upside down!! (at most, I’ll allow you to write it backward)... Bye!

Jargon, thanks for the tips. I won't hide the fact that if we’re talking about American prog, I’m not that experienced... I only have Happy the Man's debut from '77, and I really consider it beautiful; I don’t know their other works... it seems they released an album not long ago, but I don’t know anything else. I’ll fill in my gaps as soon as possible :) Ardalo, Pavlov's Dog is another band I appreciate, but only "Pampered Menial," because the subsequent "At the Sound of the Bell," where it seems Bill Bruford also participated (even if it doesn’t sound like it) and "Third" tell me very little...

Oh yes Slim... in fact, the only period of such a great guitarist I know is Nucleus, which I believe spans from Elastic Rock to Solar Plexus... for the rest, it's thick fog, so I don’t feel like making any evaluations, I just stopped by to say hello.. Guitarist greetings Doc!

Beyond who can sing what, the point is simply that Phil Collins is a great singer and an extraordinary drummer. One can love the era led by Peter Gabriel to madness, but to pinpoint Phil as the sole architect of the "easy listening" turn of Genesis is, in my opinion, a naivety and nothing more. Personally, I don't limit myself to only listening to progressive music, so every now and then let some catchy music come in; long live Genesis. Always. If I have to feel horror in front of certain productions, I look to our beautiful country, which lately with its "artistic icons" has been suffocating us from morning till night... certainly not Genesis.

I've never been too crazy about the progressive "Made in America," and the records I truly appreciate from those places aren't that many... But this is undoubtedly one of them. It's a shame that certain works are so unknown... I bet many fans of so-called "major prog" (although it would be better to say "more visible prog") would go wild for some hidden gems. Anyway... in the meantime, I'm dusting off the album and saying to those reading: listen to the good Rhayader, he's pulled out a beautiful Texan white rabbit with a symphonic flavor from the hat!
