Sonne is tied to my 15 years :'), even though the band doesn't mean that much to me, it's been 3 1/2 ...the review seems too much exaggerated in a positive way.

they don't tell me much... for the review it's decent up to the tracklist excluded... more than the opening (I’m also under exams unfortunately ^^") it's the ending <one flaw: cheerful and carefree melodies, they should try to produce something melancholic or at least not always so light and easily tiresome to listen to> that doesn't fit...

There was a time when I listened to them; they remind me a bit of AFI (oh my, you make me think of Armageddon and radio ghghg)... now I'm not really in the mood, also because they remind me of too many awful bands that have popped up in the last 10 years, and I'm avoiding them quite a bit. Radio has the same intro as Forever Young (by Alphaville and then covered by the Youth Group), and it kind of reminds me of Stay Together for the Kids by Blink (oh god -_-")... the album is a 2.5... 3 for sympathy, definitely not a 5 nooooooooooooooooooooooooo ^^

I haven't seen the movie, but the review is very well done... there's not much to say, in my opinion, alessioiride knows how to write and makes you reflect, for better or worse. If there's some egocentrism in how he does it, I don't care (I'm not going to marry him, haha). I agree with the whole argument except for the sentence "Chi vi scrive ha ottimi maestri che gli insegnano che nel futuro di rosa non c'è nulla...", but only because nihilism is, from this point of view, far from me.

ah... I just remembered that the simple title The Virgin Suicides would have suggested a completely different genre to the average Italian... XD
Strangely enough, I don't mind this translation... not like what they did for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (if you leave me, I'll erase you ^^")... purely profit-driven, at least here it's to direct the right audience to the film, not to show it to all the blockbuster fans XD
