Don't confuse knowing a song by a band with culture. If you take a stroll among the hipsters on MySpace, you'll notice the long list of musical tastes; you might even come across some interesting names, but are we sure that aside from a single, they know anything about what they're listening to? I don't think so (or at least the people I know don’t). These are the years of cooltura/everything-and-nothing, and the internet could be used better instead of in the superficial way it's often approached (I include myself in that mix as well).

Then, who knows... I'm a child of the '00s, so I can't really know how things were before, but I can say that the musical/artistic emptiness of my years has bothered me quite a bit at times. It's like not having a home :(, not living something that represents you... maybe the trends of the past now seem exaggerated, or perhaps people were just getting too carried away... but at least there was something; you could follow it or not, but it existed. I can only trace back the past, find some originality in a blend of ancestral sounds, and think: "I wonder if with a bass, a guitar, and a drum kit, something can still be put together."

@tomgil...even if they haven't seen it, I think they didn't make a mistake in their judgment! In fact, I hadn't rated it before, but now I'm giving it a solid 1 too. I watched the film on YouTube because they shot some scenes at my university...ghghg...you really can't give it a passing grade... just nu nu.

I don't think I'll listen to the CD, but this glimpse of Holland on Fix You is really cool ^^. I can already picture him in front of me rummaging through the garbage...hahaha...

the metalloscremocristiano of these types is not my kind...but the review is good.

you scored a triple of punk rock/pop punk, I see ^^! well... I have Millencolin in my heart unlike the others... I’ve never listened to this first one though (I’m not really into ska punk, so I don’t know how I’d take it, but I’ll try to get it anyway)!

Having read the review and considering that the genre might interest me! I'm listening to it now and it doesn't disappoint ^^! For the rating of the album, I’ll wait to internalize it better; in the meantime, I’ll give a 4 to the review.
