I quote this phrase by Eletto: "From here comes my conviction that one can be a potential mathematician even without knowing how to do calculations"! These things interest me, even though I’m pretty awful at practical mathematics!!!

Yes, you understood my reasoning :)

I don't know, maybe it's just that for me everything that is metal ends in a dead end where the only word repeating itself is metal itself (black METAL, doom METAL, power METAL, etc.) ... I find it deconstructive, complicated/heavy/long (and I love simplicity/conciseness/synthesis), finished and thus depressing, while from punk many things have emerged, despite the no future and punk is dead (and the word Punk is absent in these derivatives), including melodic hc which, if done well, entertains me... anyway, beyond Metallica (and who hasn't heard them? :P) I've never gone further; in my musical diagram, they are the last little arm on the left (or right or whatever, I'm making this up) that ends in the void, along with the key groups of other metal deviations :D ... maybe culturally I should listen, but I have so many things I like to hear that I don’t think I’ll have time in this life :(

But I'm not talking about slowness with catchy tunes.
Anyway, for some strikes, check out Change Is a Sound (laughter in a police state, sunset on 32nd, detonation)... and besides that, listen to the latest from Propagandhi :D!

I was saying that with the last album I listened to (the Suffer and the Witness) they returned more to the style of this one you reviewed, because Siren Song was catchier... anyway, I rank them and the Strikes more or less at the same level! :)

Ehhh, it had been a while since you declared yourself obsessed with the rise!! :D Just the other day, I happened to catch a video on YouTube of parkour (https://www.debaser.it/main/Video.aspx?y=JWiOVla9veo ...mitttici!!!) and there was "paper wings" playing in the background (which is actually by Siren Song...), I was about to cryyy! I forget some things, though, like how I had it written in my little school diary from second year of high school <3 and how I used to sing it obsessively! Well, aside from these anecdotes, I must say I'm not one of those who cries masterpiece or miracle or anything like that! But it's still better than the folks who wander around... and then they make me bounce. With "The Suffer and the Witness" they had returned a bit to their roots (the ones you're talking about), I haven't heard the latest one.
