For about a year now, there have been rumors about a sequel to Donnie Darko, but when I read that the director had refused to participate, I sensed the crap (actually, I had an inkling ever since I saw that the lead was the sister, coincidentally played by a hot girl -.-)... indeed, I won't be going to the cinema to see it >:D ...sure... I know James Lafferty is in it, but honestly, if he's as boring as in the latest seasons of One Tree Hill, I doubt I'll even get my hands on it in a shady way!!! :DD

I liked it too!:D The review was written during a time when I had just joined Deb and wasn't logging in all the time...so I missed it :)

I was in love with Rocky Joe and the Dragon from the Knights of the Zodiac (just to be different, since everyone liked Pegasus!)

Honestly, Captain Tsubasa and Dragon Ball have received quite a bit of criticism, which I honestly wouldn't have expected! Here I understand, it even annoys me! ghgh :D
@Rorix I remember them all!:D Rayheart and Card Captor Sakura are by CLAMP! Rayheart was definitely cooler (I even have the comics... just a few of Sakura)! Slayers is also way too cool!

I have to say that this Kubota convinces me quite a bit, and usually, I don't fully understand artists who express themselves through "actions." If someone thinks "aesthetic beauty" = "art," then there's really no point in discussing it; in this case, it can be difficult to align those things (but art is not just this). These performances are research, research that I don't always grasp... there are those who believe that even Picasso did random things on the canvas, and I could immediately say, "no way!" I could explain his "research" and purpose, but here sometimes certain actions seem vaguely useless to me, thus unexpressive and therefore not artistic. A few months ago, Vito Acconci came to my university (I make this connection here because of his 'masturbatory' performance... even if he himself doesn't really accept the term performance, but oh well), I thought that someone like him, who beyond body art has created architectures, might help me appreciate what they do better... in short, to understand whether these researches have led to something concrete that maybe I don't always grasp at first glance, but I have to say I still haven't fully understood... he talks about the study of body space, which has helped him get to the understanding of space as a place to be/exist, etc... in words, it’s incredibly interesting, but maybe I should do some action myself to really get to the point xD ... also because at the moment he says he has abandoned the idea of using his body because the 60s are over and that was the time for self-exploration, it makes it seem a bit like something that was done because that was the trend back then. I'm not saying for fashion, though... gah! I don’t know, maybe I still know too little about it hehe (well, as usual, my long interventions are too confusing @@).
