Indeed, I haven't written at all that he is dead! However, his health conditions are quite serious; it's unlikely he will be able to pick up the guitar again...

Bass Communion Vajrayana

Yes, Bass Communion is one of the solo projects of Steven Wilson from Porcupine Tree, practically the most electronic and ambient one...

Since I read about Latimer's illness, listening to this album fills me with sadness. However, I am convinced that beyond sales, attitude, technical skills, and fame, this man was one of the greatest guitarists of all time! The way he made his guitar "cry" has never been achieved by anyone else!

The Amplifier from the debut album...how awesome are they?! Pure spectacle!
Now they plan to release two albums...not a double one...two different ones! They're crazy! Rock on!
The Gathering If Then Else

Thanks to everyone for the comments!
In the review, I intentionally downplayed the album analysis because I believe, when talking about The Gathering, that "if then else" is not the best starting point.
It seemed more important to me, in a case like this where the pressures from the record label changed the final outcome, to discuss the external situation surrounding the notes that make up the album... also to write a review that is different from the usual, not composed of a musical analysis, but made instead of useful information for those who might not know this band!
Anyway, the opinions of everyone are always sacred! Bye!

What an unattainable masterpiece! You've made me want to relive it (listening to it again doesn't quite capture it!) with this excellent review!

X DeadHorse: Well, if I agreed with all my personal assessments then that would be worrying! :D
Anyway, thanks everyone for the comments! Bye!

I forgot to answer your question! They are all under 30, and the reference to punk was simply for the characteristic energy of that genre; in fact, I'm not talking about punk attitude! Bye!
