Congratulations! You've truly piqued my curiosity... reading such beautiful and passionate reviews almost gives the feeling of having already listened to the album!

Ah what an album, my dear friends! Ah what a voice that woman has! :D Anyway, congratulations, great review! You’ve managed to treat Anneke's delicate vocal cords as they deserve. Bye!
Giovanni Allevi Evolution
Voto:
In my opinion, you’re exaggerating... what is it, has Allevi become the outlet for collective frustration?! I’m no expert in classical composition or piano, but there’s a long way from that to comparing him to D'Alessio! And this thing about ā€œgenius,ā€ honestly, it’s nonsense! Who is a genius according to you? I have the impression that a question that should yield a definitive answer would actually produce completely different names. If he’s quirky, has that hairstyle, and acts like a misfit, why do you have to throw hate at him? Does hearing four piano notes annoy you? Are you all conservatory graduates who can detect the influences from the great classics? No offense guys, but reading a page like this on a review site is almost worse than the 100 and more of the usual suspects in metal...
John Mayer Continuum

I agree with Meconio about searching for the debut album because it's worth it, but in my opinion, the best of this trio can be found in "Try! - Live in concert"... hello everyone!
Anathema Hindsight

Great review! Very heartfelt!
Just two small clarifications... The string instrument accompanying Anathema on this album is a cello, and the female voice belongs to Lee Duglas, who has been part of the band for a few years... Bye!
Gavin Harrison & 05ric Drop

I haven't listened to it yet, so for now I'll comment on the review as it's written; all the information is there, the explanation of the rating is also pleasant to read, and there are references for those who have no idea what it's about... really good!
However, considering that there are Fripp, Harrison, and the sweet magical touch of Chloe Alper for the artwork... I think it's definitely worth a listen! :D

Ron Thal a.k.a. Bumblefoot, right?! I've heard little about him to make a comparison with Eklundh; I'll have to look for something from his solo albums! Also because before we can hear him in action on Chinese Democracy, it'll take about another 15 years, give or take... if we're feeling optimistic!

X Larrok: If you mean that doing those things isn't innovative in itself since they are all existing techniques, that's fine, but what I meant to say is that AI manages to combine these techniques with great originality, trying, whenever possible, to never appear trivial. If that way of playing reminds you of someone, to be honest, I currently don't understand who you're referring to... um, maybe Malmsteen or Gilbert? If those are the names you had in mind, I would say no; Eklundh is different and, in my opinion, much more original. Bye!

Look, that's exactly what I meant to say... Perhaps the only difference is that I insist on defining attitude what is normally referred to as gender, but it seems to me that we are basically on the same page! Hi!
Thanks for the comments!

Beautiful page, written with the understanding of the emotion that a record can unleash. It’s a shame that these little crazies don’t communicate everything you’ve written to me, but that’s also the beauty of music! Bye!
