I only have the debut by Gorillaz, actually, and from other Albarn "solo/side projects" I have the already mentioned "Everyday Robots" and "The Good the Bad and the Queen". In general, unlike Blur and Coxon solo, whom I love unconditionally, Albarn's solo/side projects have never completely captured me; still, total respect for him, of course. I should maybe try to catch up on some other Gorillaz albums. Let's see.

Regarding the eternal discussion of whether duplicates should be allowed or not, I believe that as long as the review of a work, even if it's the hundredth one, is well-written, it is still a pleasure to read. Moreover, it provides an opportunity to revisit the discussion here (after all, it's not like anyone goes back to dig up an old review to rekindle a discussion about a work that nobody cares about anymore; just look at the few comments on even the revived "from the past" reviews). I think this is something that makes everyone a bit happy. Furthermore, it's often said that Deb should bring novelty, but when someone actually does bring something new, there are often very few comments (3 or 4 comments, just check the homepage, reviews of the new albums by Maximo Park, Incubus, or even Goblin, with just 1 comment, or Hiroshi Yoshimura). So, what are we talking about here? :) Therefore, as Taurus says, duplicates are welcome, if well-written and if they add something, then, in some way, even better.

Said many times here, for me this is their absolute peak, in every sense (and in the top 20 of my favorite albums). Great analysis, although as "hot points of the album" I would have mentioned others, or at least ALSO others.

Discone and milestone, exemplary fusion of "ethnic" and rock.

In general, I also like a format like this; maybe you could try to say something more about the music.

@[Gabrielegilli] Read. Certainly a masterpiece, in many ways. Extremely complex, both in terms of the plot and the depth of the characters (in comics, I’ve found character development like this only in another manga: Berserk), as well as in the profound meaning that underlies it and the themes explored; yet at the same time incredibly engaging and captivating, another example of what it truly means to craft a great script. There are so many things to say, but I’ll stop here, also because I’m still reflecting on many aspects of the story. So thank you very much for the recommendation, because, by the way, I had never heard of it before.

A beautiful, inspired retrospective on the Pixies. For this album, I give it a 3.5 (which I gladly round up because it's the Pixies) because while there are some gems (the "alternate" version of River Euphrates, Manta Ray, Into The White, Winterlong), there really isn't much other interesting material in here, let's say it's something to grab only when you have all their other stuff and want to complete the discography.

I always like to remember that Sonic Nurse is a really great album, extremely underrated; I have never listened to The Eternal, though.

I don't agree that from 2000 onwards there has been little good content in the horror genre: perhaps not much good stuff has made it to Italian theaters, but on an international production level, there have been several interesting things.
