I liked this review more than your usual ones, which are always very interesting nonetheless. I didn’t waste any time and immediately searched for the album that I don’t rate since I’m not familiar with it. Thank you for the recommendation, and don’t take it the wrong way if you’re young and can’t boast about "in my time"; I would gladly trade places with you. Best regards.

I don't know the album or even the genre, which I believe, from what I've read, is not for my ears, but the review is really beautiful, congratulations.

I come away from reading this beautiful review completely intrigued, and I thank you, Giona, for the recommendation, which I will definitely check out very soon, especially because I am always keen to hear this genre when winds are involved in the ensemble. Best regards.

Beautiful review that intrigued me a lot about a group I didn't know at all. I'm especially curious because in the lineup there are wind instruments that have this "superpower" that Giona describes. Well done and thank you.

Oh my goodness! Another great review of an album I don’t know and that I’m now strongly motivated to seek out and listen to. Only retirement will save me by giving me the necessary time to listen to them all. If there’s asbestos in the vinyl, I might ask for a 4-year early retirement... I’ll look into it. Greetings to everyone!

I really miss this and I start looking for it, very curious. From Korea, I really like "Now He Sings..." which I recommend, and that other one he did with Gary Burton, the title of which escapes me. Well done Telespallabob... but when will I get to hear all these records??? Best regards.

Dearest Antoniodeste, I carry 52 years, I was born in '56, the year of the great snowfall as I wrote in my profile, and I was born right in the middle of that snowfall, on January 3rd. Getting back to the point, and I’ll close it here, I remember perfectly that having Area as a support act for PFM then harmed both because the audience was expecting the carriage of Hans and was absolutely unprepared for the experimental sounds of Area. I also recall that they, being very politicized, participated in many demonstrations where, again, there weren’t many people open to their music; they definitely preferred Intillimani, Guccini, etc. Then years went by, and I believe that only now do we truly realize the great discourse they managed to carry forward in those years.

In Mirenzi's book "Rock Progressivo Italiano," Fariselli states, "Before joining Area, I studied a lot at the conservatory, which I then definitively abandoned... my initial contribution to Area was primarily jazz-related. This underlying approach still remains, but my attitude towards jazz has changed because I realize the critical moment improvisation is facing today." Keep in mind that the book was published in '97.
