I stand with THEJARGONKING, I too know the second one that I found on the recommendation of a friend and defined it as their best thing. I'll fill the gap with this one too. Thanks, Prof, and don’t worry about the nickname, someone has to do the dirty work after all ;-)
Karlheinz Stockhausen Hymnen

I like the review, but I believe it needed deeper insights into everything that emerged afterward from the German school. The album isn't easy, not even for me, who can modestly say I've been immersed in electronics since the '70s. The work deserves a very thorough study, as does the entire oeuvre developed by Schoenberg. Doing it as a self-taught person seems practically impossible, but it's also true that the writings of these gentlemen who revolutionized music are challenging for those without a conservatory background. Listening is always recommended for everyone, even for those who then claim to have a stomachache. Modern and contemporary European music starts from here. Best regards. Elio

A review that made me smile with joy, I don't know them but they intrigued me quite a bit after what you said. Kudos for the recoveries. When is the analysis of the things mentioned by Cope in his latest Jap coming? Regards. Elio

Korea, Zawinul, and Davis... after these comparisons, I can only seek it out and see if I will like it more than "The circle maker," which I find splendid. Regards.

I know a lot about records, but Mr. Giona always catches me off guard, and after his review—always valid and engaging—I find myself searching, having sprinkled ashes on my head. Best regards.

As often happens in these cases, one must place in the right context the album that came out in 1975, which is an almost masterpiece like all the output of "ours" in the '70s. That said, there is nothing more to add; just look at what was on the music market, and we will find the originality of this work. The review is really nice. Best regards.
Pat Metheny Group The Way Up

I really enjoyed the review when it talks about the dialogues between Metheny and the trumpet because it reminds us of the illustrious past this gentleman has had with top-level trumpeters. I'm not crazy about the album, but I listened to it with pleasure in the past, although I still prefer the self-titled album of the group as the highest peak achieved by this formation. Congratulations for bringing this work to light. Best regards.

Forgetfulness: are you sure that's the original cover? I have a different one.

This album, for me, doesn't go beyond two stars because it has a rock foundation that lacks ideas and is completely devoid of the prog line that was meant to be this band's hallmark. The voice is still beautiful, just as she was beautiful. I saw them live in the '70s, and a friend of mine managed to buy a Martini for Sonja Kristina. I still have their autographs on the poster; I liked them a lot, but with this work, they have really let me down. Regards.
Ten Years After Rock & Roll Music to the World

I rate the review five because it presents an original interpretation, though I do not share it, of their downward spiral. The work does not go beyond a three because these shifts toward other sounds give me the impression that they are trying to fill their fishing nets again, but without knowing exactly where to cast them. I believe Mocampo is right when he talks about Lee's egocentrism. Best regards.
