Ace Frehley Frehley's Comet
Voto:
The good Ace Frehley, the Kiss member I've always admired the most among the four from the original lineup, is a solo artist I've always followed with extreme interest for some reason. Among the first three records, this is the best one in my opinion: it took until "Anomaly" in 2009 to reach this level again. The latest "Space Invader" also really grabbed me..!

Interesting suggestion. I just listened to something about the Tube for the first time, and I must say, my first impression is that as a project it truly deserves recognition.

A beautiful album, discovered a few years ago, stuff for fanatics like me who are into the dark sounds of the bands revolving around the charismatic figure of Paolo Catena.

The album by Pooh that I am most attached to: songs like "Io canterò per te," "Inca," "Quasi città," and "Caro me stesso mio" are true masterpieces. A very personal review, I liked it a lot.

Because Lovecraft is not to be argued about, he's to be loved! ;)
Manowar The Lord of Steel Live

Legendary Manowar! At one time they were among my most important listens, but after "Gods Of War" (2007) I realized that for me their star was dramatically setting: even "Warriors Of The World" hadn’t been the masterpiece I hoped for, so I had to start coming to terms with it and look around for something else. I definitely sealed the deal in 2010, after a concert of theirs in Slovenia during which they played only songs from "Warriors Of The World" and "Gods Of War," completely omitting all their classics. Needless to say, I took it to heart terribly, especially after spending 72 euros on it! Although after that day I stopped pretending to be a defender of true steel (and especially stopped venerating De Maio and the rest), I always remember their early albums fondly. For me, they were fundamental and indispensable up to "Sign Of The Hammer" and a fantastic band until "Louder Than Hell," then pure mediocrity... That said, honestly, I feel no curiosity towards the album in question... Who knows, maybe one day... Excellent review.

Album that I only listened to once in the car with my guitarist, but it really caught my attention! Saw them live recently, they were an absolute blast!
Gareth Edwards Rogue One

But am I the only one who doesn’t consider Cassian Andor a positive hero? I mean, take one of the early scenes: he gets an informant into trouble, a guy with one arm who can’t escape when the stormtroopers arrive, and then shoots him. I don’t care if you tell me that otherwise the imperial soldiers would have caught him and made him confess and blah blah blah, that it’s more realistic and blah blah blah: Luke Skywalker would have never done that, that’s all I need. Long live the '80s movies and positive heroes (yes, even Mad Max wouldn’t have pulled a stunt like that). That said, I enjoyed the rest of the film, but I’m not an expert, just a guy who watches movies.

I completely agree with the review. A nice group, sometimes a bit repetitive but certainly extremely enjoyable.
