MisterGigi, regarding your comment number 66, one could say that they were the first globalizers. They helped to Westernize the world. I don't like that.

@azzo I know Ellroy by reputation; he's said to be the best mystery writer around. I've seen LA Confidential, which is a really great film. I agree when you write: "Loss of innocence never existed" of the U.S.A. ....... it's true, and in Hanson's film, it's more than evident. But I also think that alongside the world depicted in "LA Confidential," there coexisted the world described in "American Graffiti." The two things are not incompatible.

But of course bjorky, you wrote something I agree with. Always respecting what azzo writes too. azzo I didn't understand if you are referring to LA Confidential.

Sorry Azzo, but I must disagree... A Perfect World is a depiction of American society in the early '60s, a society that kills a president... kindness has nothing to do with it...

I haven't seen the movie, but I believe you, especially since Huston is one of my favorite directors.

Great record, and I’m glad to have it on vinyl, I wonder if it has increased in value. (I mean money)

I expressed my opinion before reading the review, which is good.

Nice story, but I especially appreciate it on a stylistic level; Scott was already showcasing his talent.

Meurglys_III, I already replied, I just remembered that Lennon was the first in line, if that's not enough for you, I’ll say it’s bullshit too… that way everyone’s happy.

I only expressed my opinion about McCartney. I didn’t say he was crap, but that he wrote nice songs; then I corrected myself, saying beautiful. Donjunio is right, John had phenomenal peaks of genius: they complemented each other perfectly. It's true that they gave their best when they were together. I reiterate that the true leader was John. Kosmogabri, you say it's nonsense, that thing about Abbey Road; it came to my mind when thinking about the cover. (I only remembered that he was the first in line.) It may be nonsense, but it might not be either.
