Aside from the great soundtrack, which includes three tracks by Mink DeVille, the first half is strong while the second is disappointing. As you wrote, the film suffers from showing stereotypical images and spreading homophobic messages. I would have preferred if Pacino had fully embraced his latent homosexuality, definitively severing his relationship with his wife.

It may seem like I'm seeking you out, but that's not the case; I just downloaded the album because someone recommended it to me who uses Soulseek. I go looking for it on DeBaser and I find you. The same goes for Color Haze, which Bartleboom mentioned. I agree with almost everything you've written: a bit of Beach Boys, a variety of instrumentation, heavenly harmonies... but sometimes the work of Grizzly Bear feels a bit cloying. However, overall I find the album more than satisfactory, with three or four pleasant tracks, and the added value of "Easier," which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful pieces I've listened to in recent times; it's worth buying the album just for that.

Album I really like. As you write, I love these sick melodies, unique combinations of beauty and brutality. I also have the others from his discography, but I've listened to them too little to judge.

I already knew this album; after reading the review, I took it out of the drawer, and time has barely worn it down.

This album was a nice discovery, so I also got "Stealing From Our Favourite Thieves" and "The Lapse - Betrayal!" which I haven't listened to yet. If I like them just as much, I'll also check out "Split 7" with Radio To Saturn and the rest. DeBaser is a site that I continue to enjoy solely because, more than others, it allows me to discover new artists; you just need to know where to look.

Read carefully, I use the nickname I like, is that clear? If I want to play with names, that’s my business, and you shouldn't care less. Besides, you don’t call yourself PSYCHOPOMPE, so what should I deduce from your nickname? What I’ve understood is that the sport you’re best at is climbing on mirrors. Most likely, you've met Germans who came here for tourism; it's obvious that among them there are a significant number of: "hippies who roam in campers even at 60 years old, send their kids barefoot everywhere, let them splash around in the mud, and don’t care at all" but this is also done by French, Scandinavians, and even more by Americans... and others too. You generalized, because 99% of the Germans from Germany are not like that; if we really want to find something that distinguishes them, it’s that many have their own garden (garten), even far from home, where they go in their free hours to relax. I’ll end this quarrel here because I don’t even know where it’s heading. The fact remains that those two initial blocks you wrote to connect to Colour Haze, in my opinion, fit as well as a cabbage at tea time; may I at least think this? I felt the reality of being the child of Germans in the post-war period... as a child.

I went looking for a review on Colour Haze, and I found myself on this page. That you were a child I understood, you fool that you are, but the clichés continued in the second block, when you described Germans as hippies who roam around in campers even at the ripe old age of 60, send their children barefoot everywhere, let them bathe in the mud, and couldn't care less. (I'm laughing) But give me a break!!!! You don’t know a thing about Germans, who, like every people, include every cultural category, including a small portion of those you call hippies. Also, as I already mentioned, I understood perfectly that you were a child, which is why I asked you those 2 questions. Mainly, I am interested in the first: Do you still think that signs shouldn’t be in German? You omitted that they are also written in Italian, but we know, you were a child. I don't want to stir up any controversy, and I’m not Tyrolean, I’m 100% Italian, but I live in Tyrol, specifically in Vinschgau, which was translated to Val Venosta during the fascist era when they changed names even when it wasn’t necessary, and sent a multitude of Italians here to Italianize these lands that have a cultural heritage (for many centuries) that has nothing to do with the Italian one. You know, I could be mistaken, but it seemed to me that I caught a bit of chauvinism in those lines, which is legitimate, but less so when it's disguised with the fact that you were a child. But I must be mistaken.
