The unrealistic colors were intentionally so by Storaro. As I wrote back in '19, the stylistic aspect is somewhat overemphasized. In the end, after reading some comments, I realized that they are not really appreciated by most. @GrantNicholas, I completely understand that Batman has to be bad, he has to be tough... but people expect it to be a children's movie, only to find a "cultured" work, not at all suitable for a young audience.

Now it's your turn to explain to me what you mean by "fumettoso." The fundamental flaw of these films is that the directors put so much effort into making them works of art that the result is they aren't films for kids, and in most cases, not even for adults. My younger sister didn’t appreciate this film at all, shot in dark places, with a tough, inhuman Batman, not the good and merciful hero she was expecting. (Have you talked about Batman's personality?)

Why is it horrible? It's my best in terms of style, even though maybe there’s a bit too much style. The story is good, and the kid is a great original idea.
