Before making the list, Poletti tries to understand the key to interpreting the film. After that, you may not like it.

@Velluto, you can't compare "Mediterraneo" to "La Grande Guerra", it's like comparing "Le Iene" to "Giungla d'asfalto" or "L'uomo che non c'era" to "Chinatown".

Listening to them, I've always thought that their compositions were very well constructed, and yet I have the feeling that something is missing to truly convince me.

I didn't know you liked good old Petty; I adore him. The four pieces suggested are among his most famous, and I believe he presented them in a longer version than in the studio. In my opinion, Petty is a genius in the art of arrangement; I think it's hard for a cover of one of his compositions to surpass the original.

Well, everyone says it. But the one depicted isn’t mine, though it looks very much like it. Do you like the writing under the ankle? Does it move you? To move is what art is asked to do, right?
Jimi Hendrix Live At Woodstock (dvd)

I have his performance in Monterey, a great concert. Hendrix became a legend on his own merits, while sometimes in music, one becomes a legend simply because they die in tragic circumstances.

Why do you write in capital letters? Are you afraid they won't take you seriously?

@47, I will try, you order and I will execute. Ask and it shall be given unto you... someone used to say. Even though I love more than anything the blues and traditional rock, there was another who said that in the mind there shouldn't be "a goddamn wall," and I do everything to break it down.

For me, technically he is the best among the many I know. But technique alone is not enough, anyway, a great one.

I'll download "The Bends" and we'll see. But from "OK Computer" and "Kid A," there are very few songs that managed to move me. I'll also re-listen to the two albums I know; one can always change their mind.
