Randy Newman Live
Voto:
Joe Cocker is great; he built his career on covers, and the songs often have "lush" arrangements, but I usually prefer the originals. "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison or "Have a Little Faith in Me" by John Hiatt are just two examples. As for Newman, I have three albums, and my favorite is Little Criminals.

Newman is talented and underrated. A great composer, besides You Can Leave Your Hat On, he has written other beautiful songs.

Yideirita, if I've understood correctly that Italian is not your mother tongue, then it is also mandatory to rate the review. (I hardly ever do this)

You know that pleasant-to-listen Pop interests me. What do you think, should I add it to the list? Sure, I'll add it.

Beautiful page, I watched Kaurismäki's film and I liked it. The Finnish director has always reminded me a bit of Jarmusch for his personal way of making cinema.

Thank you, Conte, I’ll copy and paste, and after a while, I’ll let you know what I think. You’re a goldmine of information. Bye.

I consider it the biggest scam of the last 30 years. Since she separated from her husband, (a truly great musician) she hasn't done anything good. Anyway, this collection seems good judging by the titles. "River deep mountain high," above all.

Good review. I'm putting this "Piano Sonatas" on my list for now, but first I want to get back into jazz... and it will take some time. In the meantime, I've picked up a couple of records by Earl Hines, his Blues In Thirds is beautiful. I prefer the version with Sidney Bechet, of which I have a couple of nice compilations. I was also gifted some excellent records by Eddie Condon, Fletcher Henderson, Don Redman, Henry "Red" Allen, Count Basie, Bailey Norvo, James P Johnson, Ory Dodds None, Mary Lou Williams, Eddie Land, and Joe Venuti. Little by little... If you have any other records to recommend, I'm all ears; for now, everything you've suggested has been taken into account, and I've never been disappointed. Bye.

Sure, I like The Downward Spiral. I don't know this one. Unsatisfactory review.

In the end, he stops drinking, becomes rich by returning the empties, and lives happily ever after.
