Andrea Vantini Menomale Che Silvio C'E'

@Lewis Tollani, I was born and raised in Tuscany, but I worked in Germany for a long time, and I currently live in South Tyrol. In Germany, the politicians are a little better than in Italy. But just a little. Here, politics is "Das große Fressen."

Compared to the novel, the film underwent numerous adjustments. Forced to cleanse the film of eroticism, Kubrick focused on the morbid obsession for Lolita, accentuating the grotesque dimension of the supporting characters, with sometimes pitiful and sometimes cruel portrayals of Lolita's mother...... It seems to me that it cannot be considered a mere flick.

Good job, Muffi, tell that... that quibbler Poletti that Lolita is a great film. Especially considering the time it was made, with a censorship of Chinese type. (Once they used to say Soviet)

Rikardo is a nice person, a little shy, also a little crazy, but just a bit. For me, the Italian representatives are almost all crap; I would merge them into a toilet.

Why, why always Lolita? Lolita is a wonderful film.

I like this film, not as much as Lolita, but still. Does anyone think like me? Poletti, why always Lolita?

I really like this man. I only know him by sight; he’s like a cheap but good wine. Does anyone feel the same way?

I like this man a lot, but I prefer being with his guitar.

Poletti, although it doesn't reach levels of excellence, is one of the best among all the costume films. Sergio Leone also made The Colossus of Rhodes... It's show business, baby. And there's nothing you can do about it!

The Bloomfield class is undeniable; for me, he was the most important American blues guitarist of the late '60s and '70s. Underrated. Average review.
