The Cramps Songs the Lord Taught Us
Voto:
This is a great record, and the Cramps are a fantastic band. I saw them many years ago when they opened for the Police (I think). They only received boos, but I believe the blame was on the organizers who didn't understand that the Cramps' music was light-years away from that of Sting and company.

Everything that Psychopompe and donjunio say is true, and I can only add that I also like "Four sail." Furthermore, the producer and sound engineer Bruce Botnick found the group in a sorry state, so he decided to hire some session musicians and to support certain songs with a real orchestra of strings and brass. Jac Holzman went to Los Angeles to see the Love; I believe that's how he first saw the opening act: The Doors. Morrison met Manzarek on Venice Beach, and that was the moment that convinced the keyboardist to form a new band with Morrison, who I consider overrated for his poetic skills, but had the gift of captivating audiences with his interpretative force, perhaps also due to some provocative attitudes he displayed on stage.

Here I am again. To greet those I don't know, Missing, darkHaem, laggio, Q, paloz, telespallabob, Caccòn, pixies77, Opel, madcat, mocampo, sonic80, Festwca, Dj-Salival, and to those I know, @Blackdog, are you still thinking? Jokes aside, the offer is still valid @Lewis, I always enjoy when you come... about the review. I'm watching "Mystic River" on Pro Sieben. Bye.

@Ole, as far as I'm concerned, I love the Grateful Dead... especially live; beyond the famous Live/Dead, there's an extensive discography, with many great things. (I feel the same about the Allman Bros). @Don, I had read about Young. I'm glad you also consider him a genius, even though he doesn't even appear in Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest guitarists; Link Wray is at 67, Bloomfield at 22, Clapton at 4, and Young at 83. @Hi shooting Star, Bernie Marsden isn't here. Greetings to everyone, I'll be back tonight.

@Laggio you’re right, just listen to "A House Is Not A Motel" or "Live And Let Live." Lee is extraordinary, but he’s never mentioned among the best; for example, Clapton is preferred, who as a songwriter doesn’t even compare to Lee, and he gave his best playing as a ā€œsidekickā€ to Mayall. @Ole, you’ve said more or less the same about the Elevators, what’s your favorite psychedelia? The Grateful, or Jefferson? I read the comments on the Genesis album... I live just a few kilometers from where Gustav Thöni has his house, I know him and he’s very polite, a nice person. What do you think of him as a skier?

Hello everyone, I'm glad to see that the album is appreciated. I consider it a masterpiece; the songs have little to do with the psychedelia made in San Francisco. I only mention the Grateful Dead, who, in my opinion, captured the moods of the Bay Area better than anyone else during that time. But Forever Changes has something specialā€”ā€œsongs that captivate because they are rich in hidden suggestionsā€ woven into the fabric of the arrangements. I listened to "Maybe The People Would Be The Times Or Between Clark And Hilldale" 50 times while writing; it never gets old. As Dj-Salival writes, there's psychedelia and melody and rhythm, I would add. For the Editors, in the feelings section, could we replace ā€œhateā€ with ā€œDoesn’t understand a thingā€? It seems more appropriate to me because hating is too strong a term to assign to people you don’t even know. @ArnoldLayne, I’m listening to the song that bears your name played by the ss-20. I made a duplicate because I’m very attached to this album and wanted to share my thoughts. Where didactic?
Steve Howe The Grand Scheme Of Things

I’m happy to do a passage from the doctor, even though I don’t have any Steve Howe solo records. I’m downloading KGSR broadcasts, about fifteen records featuring a multitude of good artists singing "unplugged." I’ll add it to the list, as I’ve already done with Whitesnake. Good review.
Bernie Marsden Live @ Monte Carasso, Ticino 27.06.2008

Bernie Marsden this unknown (to me). I’ve heard of Whitesnake, but I’ve never listened to them. Now I'm going to. I've found Ozone Friendly by Marsden; I think I'll get Ready And Willing. Good review.

I have a couple of albums by Einstürzende... (not this one) it's music that's hard to digest, even though it's clear that it doesn't lack quality. The result is that I hardly ever listen to them.

Good. After ZZ Top, they're my favorites in the genre.
