fenni, it's you who's the idiot, "those from debaser" still hadn't made it so that only the first vote counted... and then the review is not copied at all, in fact it's one of the few that really says how terrible Iron Maiden have been.

Frank Zappa was a great composer but not equally a skilled guitarist.

Frank Zappa Lumpy Gravy

quite good but there's much better in the Zappa discography... moreover, the difference in quality between the first and second parts is excessive...

Frank Zappa is perhaps the greatest musical genius of the 20th century, but giving 5 (or 4, the point remains the same) to any of his albums just because "it's Zappa" is wrong. Zappa's creative madness led him to produce an extraordinary amount of albums, and it makes no sense to shout masterpiece for all of them, because very few of his albums are masterpieces (we're only In it for money, absolutely free, uncle meat, and maybe even burnt weeny sandwich). He also made quite a number of very good albums (I won’t list them all) which confirm the multifaceted genius that Zappa was and how much he had to say, but it’s also important to acknowledge the times he missed the mark (and there are quite a few). Sometimes it seems to me that the fact that Zappa's "creative genius" cannot be reduced to just a few albums, but rather to his entire rich discography, is like an excuse to shout masterpiece even for albums that are objectively poorly executed... who knows...
