misterB, I agree with you, but help me lower this damn average then, it's outrageous that a shitty band like the Beatles has such a high average!

a day in the life a strange song? no, come on, that's too much, I consider it a very banal song; I understand it can be appreciated (because the "song" format has always been appreciated, despite the limitations it offers), but considered strange? what is normal for you then? damn, if you listen to an experimental CD, what do you do, get scared! who knows, awful review anyway; I'm definitely not one of those who prefers a "conventional" review to an original one; but this one, objectively, is awful, quite inconclusive and furthermore praises a piece that is nothing short of banal (overrated, the worst of sgt. peppers which I don't like as an album anyway)... obvious ratings...

horrible
Beatles Abbey Road
Voto:
a somewhat bland record but not bad, after all, alongside Sgt. Pepper's the only decent album from that terrible group called the Beatles.
The Doors Strange Days
Voto:
great, inferior only to "The Doors" in their discography... great review

Beatles fans were convinced that having a trumpet in a rock piece was a revolutionary thing; they admired those 30 seconds of trumpet solo (which, coincidentally, only repeated the melody of the song) believing that the Beatles were geniuses when that solo was just an annoying background to one of many silly tunes... the same is true here, you are convinced that Britti is a genius just because he did 40 seconds of intro with the guitar in Sanremo, but regardless of the quality of those 40 seconds, they remain just 40 seconds, that is, an absolute nothingness; if they are accompanied by a silly little song (if not horrible) they become unbearable... moreover, a musician should not be judged solely by the technique on their instrument (and I, by the way, don’t see much of that in Britti), but especially by how they use it; and he does nothing but provide a banal background to silly little songs... terrible guitarist and awful composer (assuming it's acceptable to consider him one).
