make sure you inform yourself before writing a review. Strawberry Fields Forever is not on this album, and psychedelia was already well-established; quite a superficial review. I do agree with you on one thing: it’s an overrated record.

@cacchione. Let me first say that I don’t understand how one can trust the judgment of that idiot Janacci. Their opinion on Vasco refers to 15/20 years ago, not today. And come on, think for yourself, right? If I liked all the favorite artists of my favorite artists, I would probably like every artist in the world (like some sort of chain reaction); but I don’t. For example, I adore Nico but can’t stand David Bowie, who Nico likes. Your reasoning is something I just can’t grasp.

Yes, I remembered he had written "the greatest masterpiece of the last 20 years"... I didn't think I was that out of it...

Every time a new album by Vasco Rossi, Ligabue, and their ilk comes out, I "broaden my horizons" as much as possible and listen, without prejudice, to the album, doing, as you say, a careful grammatical analysis of the lyrics. It's happened maybe once or twice that I've considered the analyzed album decent.

It's quite something to see two reviews of Tago Mago on the homepage. An epoch-making album; I never get tired of listening to it.

Not among the top 5... but definitely among the top 40/50!

I swear, I couldn't listen to it. It disgusted me so much that I couldn't handle more than 10 seconds without having hysterical fits. Terrible.

let's not exaggerate, the only masterpiece of the last 20 years? come on... this album is nothing compared to masterpieces like Good Son, Bricolage, The Emotional Plague, Harsh '70s Reality, Ladybird, Dancing To Restore An Eclipsed Moon, Passion, The Charm Of The Highway Strip (by the same Magnetic Fields), The Land Of Rape And Honey, Geek The Girl, Spiderland, Millions Now Living Will Never Die, California, Well Oiled, Down Colorful Hill, Ocean Songs, Umber, Lullaby Land, Consumer Revolt, 6 (by Supersilent), Surfer Rosa, Downward Spiral, Perfect From Now On, Thaw, Disappeared, Loveless, Good, Twin Infinitives, Daydream Nation. I don’t understand why we always have to exaggerate…
