I know Venom, what I've heard isn't bad, but I couldn't tell you what it is. I like Sepultura a lot: Roots is a masterpiece; Beneath The Remains and Arise are good albums. I like Opeth's Morningrise, but other albums I've heard didn't impress me. I've heard of children of badom, and I might have heard something... I only remember that they have an astonishing technique, unless I'm confusing them with some other group. I really don't know who the others are...

your criterion for judging a song is "how hard it rocks." congratulations, great criterion. this is mental dullness. this album is mediocre for me too, but certainly not because it "rocks less than Bleach or In Utero" (how can you like them, they’re just two mediocre albums).
