one of the worst records I've ever listened to

To me, honestly, these albums by the latest Battisti don’t seem at all “strange.” I mean, they may not be catchy tunes, but what do you find “strange” or cutting-edge about them? Battisti wasn’t 40 years ahead; there are thousands of albums from before that are much more radical than this. I invite everyone who considers this album “avant-garde” to listen to “Twis Infinitives” by Royal Trux or “Trout Mask Replica” by Captain Beefheart. That said, my observation wasn’t meant to be derogatory in any way.
