3.5 for the reviewed album. As a diehard fan, I'm enjoying myself immensely listening on repeat to Isis Unveiled and a couple of other tracks that definitely keep the album afloat. However, regarding the review, if I understood correctly, I don't get what the comparison with Sparta has to do with it (they do something completely different) and especially (and here I really hope I understood wrong) how can one consider So Divided a great album?!????? It’s the biggest piece of crap they've recorded. Luckily, this T.C.O.S. came out to set things right (a sort of sequel to World Apart... but less successful). The times of Source Tags & Codes are far away (alas), but still great trails.

POPULAR CULTURE is definitely one of the coolest. If for no other reason than it partially draws from the "ballads" of the bar under the sea. The rest I'm reassessing, as I mentioned, not in a positive way. They're performing in Ferrara. I would have even made the trip to see them, but the album is what it is and I wasn't impressed at the Magazzini (the venue didn't help either, it's terrible).

I'm now giving it a 2 instead of a 3 (as per the reception) because I haven't listened to it at all in the last two months. My opinions remain, it's not crap, but I admit it's easier for the Vodafone soundtrack to buzz around in my head... PS: pumps, I understand, I agree...

I was at the concert the next day. It would have been truly spectacular, but the volume limits imposed by the municipality made it barely audible. It was nonetheless an incredible experience, something I had never lived before, imagine with decent volumes...
