I was just peeking to see if anyone else besides me had reviewed the album in question. As a superfan of dEUS, I find the "5" for the album incomprehensible. What should "Worst Case," "In a Bar," and "Ideal" get, a nice 10? Allow me one last consideration: If Ghosts is "irresistibly brilliant," I imagine you went into a coma from ecstasy when you heard the first three albums. I guess you just woke up recently :) (just kidding, of course..)

I would do it too, because blissard is also devastating. But something visceral binds me to Timothy... unattainable (how many pieces in history have managed to unleash such powerful and simultaneously moving poetry as that in the finale of The Golden Core, I don't know).

"secularizing" I would honestly give it a 3.5. I can't contextualize them; I would give 5 to WCS, In a Bar, and 4 to Ideal Crash. Therefore, it’s impossible for me to place this last one on the same level as the reviewed album.
