Well, youngsters, everyone is influenced by something: even the Beatles, Presley, etc... It's pointless to keep arguing about which groups are the best; it's a waste of time and it only leads to insults... Now, Innuendo might not be to your taste (Logically), but to say that there is no art and no technique is simply FALSE, just as it is excessive to be so worked up about a piece of work like this.

Love is blindness is a resounding success, then One and Mysterious Way, but what happens in the rest of the album? Taking these three out, I’m forced to say it’s their worst album. Guys, U2 don't do ROCK, but POP-ROCK (which isn't worse than rock; you just have to know how to do it, and U2, after all, used to know how).
