Joel e Ethan Coen Non E' Un Paese Per Vecchi (No Country For Old Men)
Voto:
finally seen. the moral of this "tale" with no happy ending is clearly subjective; in fact, every reviewer of this film has a different opinion... I broadly agree with Supersoul, although I repeat, I perceived it more as a bitter and hopeless tale rather than a true dream. A difficult and rather cold film... coldness emphasized, as you say, Supersoul, also by the lack of a soundtrack. I really liked it; it kept me glued to my seat from beginning to end, however, I don’t sense absolute originality... I don’t know, there’s something, a déjà-vu that I still can’t quite pinpoint... 4 and a half.

one of the (few) Italian albums from the '90s to be proud of...it would be 4.5 but 5 for the courage.

Ethan e Joel Coen L'uomo Che Non C'Era (The Man Who Wasn't There)

very good Alessio...the film is superb, but it’s not my favorite by the Coens. Billy Bob has an incredible face, fascinating like few... Angelina Jolie had better taste in men before...

Alan Pakula was the producer, I got confused, these are films I haven't seen in 20 years.

Poletti, Presumed Innocent could very well be considered a Legal-Noir.... I previously generalized by talking about dramas and thrillers, but Pakula throughout his career has often walked the line between different "genres."

Yes, Alan J. Pakula made great dramas and thrillers, among them, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fear Strikes Out, Presumed Innocent, not to mention All the President's Men and Klute, which are a must-see....I haven't liked his recent work, like The Pelican Brief and The Devil's Own. This is one of the few I have never seen.
