Sorry for replying this late, clasdead. I don't often check the email box of the nickname bjork68. So, I naïvely thought their name came from the song by Simple Minds, but Kosmo told the real reason, read his comment.

beautiful review, ferment for me is their masterpiece.

Look, the sensitive one here is you, who took offense at my harmless joke about Gibson, to the point that you've been the only one to get outraged here so far, insulting me for free without even knowing me… but who is Gibson, your brother? I mean, if these are your existential problems, you must have a very fortunate and carefree life if you have nothing else to get upset about… now I’m going back to my business, bye.

Yes, yes, thank goodness you’re here, being intelligent and not dull. I apologize for my narrow-mindedness, and thank goodness you’re a psychologist, having understood everything about me, knowing everything about me, and getting offended over so little. And since you’ve offended me by addressing others and not me, it really says a lot about what kind of person you are, dear mauro60. Just so you know, another user has already tried to tarnish my reputation with little success... Good luck on deb, I hope you find comments more befitting your character and your intelligence and open-mindedness.

No, the vina is a kind of sitar, it is a direct descendant, while the sarod is perhaps comparable to our mandolin.

Well, I remedy it, in my own small way.....the sarangi is comparable to our violin and in my opinion, it is one of the most "Arab" instruments. Here there is an excellent raga where the sarangi takes center stage; the pakhavaj is also a protagonist among the percussion instruments, and there is a very evocative solo in this collection....I prefer the beat of the tabla though, less gloomy and muffled perhaps. The sarod, on the other hand, seems like a little nephew of the sitar.
