Revolver and Abbey are the only albums that will never bore me... this and Sgt. Pepper have worn me out... that's it, I've said it all. Word of an ex-Beatles fan (from ages 6 to 12, then new doors opened to me) ciauuuuz.

For many, it's the masterpiece of the Beatles, but not for me... Revolver (except for Yellow Submarine, which is nonsense, and Eleanor Rigby, which is beautiful, but out of context with the rest of the album) is the real masterpiece, especially considering it was released in '66... even Abbey Road surpasses it.

Well, in Strauss's time the Danube must have been really blue; when I saw it last century it was a bit yellowish...
Francesco De Gregori Alice Non Lo Sa
Voto:
Look, I don't remember the exact question, but the essence of Francesco's answer was that many of his listeners have the prejudice that behind the words of his songs there is always some double meaning, some similarity to more or less political events, and that's not the case. In Pablo, for example, he just wanted to tell the story of a Spanish worker who emigrated to Switzerland, just as in 4 cani he simply wanted to talk about 4 dogs.

By the way, Alessio, I spoke with De Gregori on a radio station in Genoa. I was so nervous that I could only ask a silly question, I think it was about Pablo....
