So, the story of Christiane F. takes place in the 70s, not the 80s, Pippo, specifically from '75 to '79, in the book, of course, not in that crap of a movie it was adapted from. Christiane didn’t die but, as far as I know, she went back to using again in the 90s only to break free and then relapse once more. It is said that on the walls of the streets of Kurfürstendamm and Bahnhof Zoo, the following words were written at the time: "If she didn't make it..."
