Eclectic Measure was a great disco (by the way Bartle, I believe I bought it at the famous Colour concert at Sabotage on your instigation, if I remember correctly), I didn't even know another record had come out, I'm diving in search of it. Great Prog choice.

Cool, even though they played a short set (it was a new wave night with 5 live bands), I was especially impressed by the singer's voice. Of course, they aren't very communicative (the keyboardist seemed autistic, the singer kept his hands in his jacket pockets the whole time, limiting himself to timid "thank you"s after each song, and I didn't even see the guitarist's face because he was always sideways, covered by his hair ;D)

But what is this, the invasion of shoegaze? Anyway, Rocky I love you! Great and focused analysis of an equally great work. I highly recommend the double CD reissue of Just for a Day, which contains all of the band's first 3 EPs, forming overall my favorite album of all time (yes, I am biased about Slowdive).

Here comes the godfather of the Ringo Deathstarr (or rather Death Ringostarr, as senile dementia led him to say)! But in reality, we agree on everything: the best is "In Love/Summertime," and from the EP to the album, they've indeed slipped from J&MC to MBV. It just makes me (slightly) prefer them, while it doesn't for you. Regards!
