Oh no!!! Brother Claudio Canali's voice may be unique, but it’s perfect in its context... the interpretation of "Confessione" is masterful "Ho preso dei soldi a un ricco signore per dar da mangiare a un uomo che muore-eee" ;)

Bjork, I couldn't believe it was your first review, it’s perfect!! And the last paragraph is masterful, I agree with every word;) The only thing is, I’d gladly add a half point to this album. Bye.

Certainly it's worth a listen, manliuzzo! You won't regret it... I think Rizzi is a music critic who wrote a guide to progressive (which, by the way, has been quite criticized).

@manliuzzo, give it one last try by listening to "Heart Of The Sunrise": if you don’t like that either, then feel free to say a definitive goodbye to Yes ;) Did you also download "In Cauda Semper..."? I’ll just say that in '69 only a few copies were printed, mostly distributed to various religious sects ;);) Beyond that, the album, entirely built with church organ and electric guitar, is certainly a masterpiece in its genre and deserves a listen (if nothing else, you must be a bit curious now ;)

I apologize for the unforgivable mistake; the album that Cobain considered "the greatest of all time" (not just in rock) was actually "Red." This does not undermine the point of my post, but it was right to clarify. I never met Cobain in person, so I can't know what he truly thought (maybe someone does), so I'm passing it on just as I read it (the source is Ondarock).

bubi, that’s what happened to me with "foxtrot": in the end, it "arrived," even though I didn’t go through the Camels first. However, for others it might not arrive... I just wanted to say that if someone starts with the Camels, or anyway with something """"easy"""" then maybe they’re more encouraged to continue exploring prog(ressive), while if you shoot them straight the tweets of "Close To The Edge" they might be disgusted after the first listen and abandon everything...

@bubi, you might be right, that's how I see it, oh well. As you can see, I just wrote that I'm ignorant when it comes to music ;) The first time I listened to a prog album ("Foxtrot," by the way), I wanted to flush it down the toilet; I couldn't understand it at all. Then, with patience, I listened to it again, and after a few listens, I already considered it a masterpiece... but maybe others less inclined towards this genre of music could conclude that all prog sucks and give up on it. Starting with Camel might avoid this risk... and anyway, I don't think Camel is that much inferior to Yes.

@bjork, well, actually when I was 16, the internet was already there ;) It's just that at that time I absolutely didn't listen to music, I wasn't interested. Fortunately, someone later made me appreciate it. However, I still remain ignorant in this field, unfortunately ;) I've never listened to lark's tongue, is it similar to Red in sound?

Wonderful album, one of the best from the Canterbury scene, and very underrated. "Hollow Stone," which for you is the lesser track, is for me the most beautiful (without taking anything away from the others)... de gustibus. I don't understand why you think the album has a strong kraut-rock vibe...
