@arnold/dave, I don't know the albums that come after this one, how are they? Keep in mind that for the two albums I'm familiar with (this one and the previous one), Caravan are among my favorite bands, so I might appreciate even works that are far inferior to this one, which I think is unattainable.

It's true, it's neither pompous nor excessively baroque, but just for my very personal tastes, it's a bit too... how should I put it? theatrical? Gabriel's voice is fantastic, but sometimes a bit over the top; I don't know, in certain passages it kind of irritates me. Of course, it's also beautiful (especially) for this reason. That said, the album remains a masterpiece. Hello Bjork :-)

I don't know this album and in fact I don't know Chapman. However, listening to Lanzetti in Acqua Fragile, it's impossible not to think of Gabriel. Great review where you argue well a thesis that not many support. I'm referring to the fact that this is PFM's best phase. To tell the truth, the little I know of this group has never driven me crazy (starting from the lyrics of Impressioni di Settembre).

Well, but "Supper's Ready" on its own is worth the album, and it's certainly not dated. Maybe I prefer "Selling England" because there are 3 amazing tracks... but there are also some weak spots.

Fundamental album. The least successful of the KC????? Bah... Come on, the review isn’t bad even if there are some mistakes. Certainly, the sound is sharper and more aggressive than elsewhere, but hard rock... really...

The album that brought me closer to progressive. Fantastic "Supper's Ready," with a superb interpretation by Gabriel, even though he sometimes overdoes it a bit in his histrionics. Cute review, very personal: a nice idea that perhaps could have been developed and written a little better (but it wasn't easy).
