Low Things We Lost in the Fire

Was that a real joke that Blur have a better discography than Low? No, because it was funny :) I agree about other bands, it's just that Low have released about ten albums, and I don’t think there’s a bad one among them. Also, for me, the first one is among the top 3 albums of the '90s and Trust is among the top 10 of the '00s. This is just my opinion, of course. (Great discussion anyway)

Then on the matter of the "album saved by Albini," I understand the reverence, but the next album is even better than this one, and Albini isn’t involved there. The truth is that Low could reinvent themselves endlessly without ever getting tired (of them).

I agree with Lux, from their debut to Great Destroyer there's quite a journey, they've always evolved without ever losing their identity and without a drop in style. Damn, sorry but I can't find many bands still active with a twenty-year career behind them that have a discography overall better than that of Low. To Codeine, I bow, but indeed, they only made 2 albums, then they had nothing more to say, while Low still have something to say (for me).

@geb, in this case I fear it might take you a bit too long, the Colour Haze records pre-Elektrohasch are impossible to find.

Group God, perhaps the best discography of the last 20 years. Amazing album, although for me they reach the pinnacle of the "Pop" phase with "Trust". 4 and a half for the album, 5 for you who have effectively filled a gap in the DeDatabase.

Recently seen in Bologna, as a neophyte, a very evocative concert and, indeed, flawless. However, I ended up listening to some older stuff, and it was a completely different experience.

Hi Marco, I saw them live a few months ago and honestly, they didn't impress me at all. It must be my problem because I see that everyone seems to like them, but I found them a drag. The review, however, is excellent.
