I'm missing the album in question, but great Woven Hand and even greater 16 Horsepower. I saw them live this summer, an exhilarating concert unfortunately interrupted by the rain.

Finally seen. Yes, I would have preferred a different setlist, with more space for the old tracks. And yes, I would have loved to hear "Inverno '85". And yes, I felt chills almost continuously throughout the concert, as I had only the first time I saw Colour Haze. And then at the end, Emidio's autograph, me as happy as a child. Maybe it means I'm not as old as Azzo yet :)

@azzo/bartle/blech, I'm happy to host the Arbouretum in Pd. However, I'm not sure if I can manage all 3 of them, we'll see. As for the Mogwai, I already have the ticket, but for Bologna.

Hi there, old friend. You're really getting old...

No, taken apart, for the little space they leave for the old songs. The latest album is nice, but I am too attached to the old records, to tracks like "Inverno '85" that I absolutely want to hear live. In the end, I fear it will be another confirmation of my preference for concerts of bands I know little or nothing about, because I have no expectations.

Mmm, I'll see them on Friday and honestly you take the wind out of my sails a bit. I saw them for the first time when they did the soundtrack for "The Fall of the House of Usher," and now I'm seeing them for the second time and they're doing this thing. I understand that I won't hear "Inverno '85" and I'm sad. I should have gone to see them 2 years ago on the reunion tour, damn it. Ah, Valentina Dorme are wonderful, one of the best rock acts currently on Italian soil.

I don't know about now, but back in the days of "Diritto al tetto" and similar stuff, they were absolute garbage. In any case, I believe that the best of Italian rock today can be found elsewhere.

"The problem is that Verdena have always made me feel like shit, so they can make all the cool albums they want, but I will never listen to them." (indie snob I love you)

Great band. Right on with the review. However, I believe Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is an unattainable peak.
