What a matter of state, it was just to counter some statements that I find senseless, for heaven’s sake.

And also the fact that today this would be pure gold is, in my opinion, nonsense. Commonplaces galore.

I really don't understand these "there's much worse" arguments. What’s much worse? Lady Gaga? Britney Spears? I hope those aren't the "artists" you consider as benchmarks for a band of the history and stature of Genesis, because otherwise, we'd really be in a bad place. The fact that we're here discussing a useless piece that's over 30 years old is absurd in itself, and I include myself in that. On certain matters, it would really be better to just skip it.

In my opinion, it's annoyingly sugary pop and poorly made. Not to mention that the three have tarnished the group's name solely for the sake of cashing in.

But in my opinion, you have no idea what a perfect pop song is...

My god, what a sadness. Then you talk about "Many too many" as a track of a whole different depth, but in my opinion, it sucks just the same. I already don't understand the point of reviewing single tracks, let alone this stuff. Did you have nothing better to do?

Just to get an idea, I listened to a few tracks on YouTube and they seem really flat, trivial, and clearly commercially oriented. We are light-years away from Transatlanticism, but also from the latest Narrow Stairs.

In my opinion, you’re exaggerating, both in your assessment of the band (although I like the 3 albums you mentioned, especially Transatlanticism) and in your view of the album in question. It’s being panned everywhere.

I fully agree, psycho. They annoyed me a lot; a bit of show is fine, but I prefer that the music speaks for itself first and foremost. At one point, they came down into the audience to play a sort of bells... and even here, the crowd was going wild. Perhaps they thought they were at the circus.

Aside from the fact that the location was completely unsuitable, I must say that I was bored precisely because in 1 hour and 20 minutes of the set, they actually played for about 20 minutes; for the rest, they chatted, suggested clapping and unlikely dances, played around with electronics, and so on. It's okay to be a freak, but here they went overboard :)
