Daniele Vicari Diaz: Don't Clean Up This Blood
Voto:
For 5 minutes, I found myself gripping the armrests of the chair, as if it were a 7a on a crag. Heavy film, but worth watching.
Walter Salles On The Road

Superb photography, a plot in line with the novel, a nice rhythm, and 2 actors who were off-center compared to what I had in mind. Dean's dubbing was terrible! Not a bad film, actually, and it made me want to reread the book again in the coming days.
Joel & Ethan Coen Non è un paese per vecchi

The Coens remind us that the rule "the book is better than the movie, regardless" is nonsense!
George Orwell 1984

It's quite complicated to review a little book like this; in my opinion, just describing the plot that everyone knows is not the best way, at least on this site. I prefer Orwell's "Animal Farm."

A film that was destined to be a classic upon its release, given Troisi's precarious condition, stoically determined to ride his bike despite feeling terrible. Beautiful performances, but a good film, in my view like many others, made hard to digest precisely because it was expected to be a success from the outset. I prefer to remember Troisi with other films.

A terrible card game capable of driving even a saint mad.
Giorgio Faletti Io uccido
Voto:
I read it the summer it was published, and I have fond memories of it; I don't want to reread it for that very reason.
Ridley Scott Prometheus

And 5 to you for the wonderful way you described it.
