Joel & Ethan Coen Mister Hula Hoop
Voto:
In my opinion, very underrated.
Yo La Tengo Fade

I really liked it! Just the right length and engaging.
Clint Eastwood Gran Torino
Voto:
It's a very good job, but I must admit that I recently revisited it and I had a better memory of it, although certain scenes remain spectacular and I find the ending quite successful. Since Gran Torino, the level of his films has declined, so I believe it will be remembered as his last great film. 4 stars are well deserved.

Nice, clean review. Maybe I'll give them a listen too since a bit of healthy '80s thrash metal should appeal to me. Regarding Scandinavia, I used to think, generalizing extremely, that Sweden was more hard rock/glam, Finland more dedicated to power/speed, and Norway the meaner one with black/death. I didn't know there were thrash metal bands of that level up there in the '80s. But then again, I'm not an expert. Haloa.
Katheryn Bigelow The Hurt Locker

After watching "Zero Dark Thirty" (recommended), I wanted to see The Hurt Locker, which I don’t know how I missed three years ago. Devastating! Do you recommend all of them? Thanks.

I remember that at the time it was a must to place alongside Fight Club et similia. And it was just as important to demonstrate that you understood it on the fly, perhaps without the help of the internet, and to mock those who quietly went to sleep with so many ??????? in their heads. I might just watch it again.
Joel & Ethan Coen Crocevia della Morte
Voto:
I find the vote a bit restrained because I find it sublime, but I’m glad you want to review them all because they are excellent reviews. Just one piece of advice: spread them out over a longer period of time ;) I didn’t know about the writer's block during the writing phase and that Barton Fink was inspired by this fact. Nice!
Joel & Ethan Coen Arizona Junior

You never really impressed me much against the high standards of the Coens. The Man Who Wasn't There, Blood Simple, and The Big Lebowski are a step above their production: films that almost deserve more than 5 stars...

I prefer Senility and The Conscience of Zeno.
