Federica Orsida - www.federicaorsida.it I believe that after reading her literary story, I will buy at least a couple of books. I was thinking about skipping the first one, probably immature, while I'm quite intrigued by the "Sailor Moon" fantasy.

From what has been described, unmissable like a salad of nails and pushpins... Perhaps this gap in the database could have remained unfilled. Regards

I bought the box set "Eve!". And I have to say it fits nicely in the drunkenly messy collection I use for holding CDs/DVDs/books. Debasio and some of his good reviews, in short, keep the economy going. Let’s hope that after watching it, other things don’t start spinning as well... but I’m sure that won’t be the case.

Thank you, Eve. I didn't know about the existence of this trilogy, and if the films, in terms of beauty, were even just distant relatives of Drive, I would watch them in a heartbeat. Great writing!

Thank you for the ride... I hope you go see it because it really shines in the cinema (cinematography/editing/sound). P.S. In 2013 in America (maybe 2014 in Europe) the new Refn film will be released with Gosling as the main actor...

In the first half, I seriously risked falling asleep; the second half was definitely better. Overall, a bit disappointing (2.5/3) because with that cast, I took for granted an excellent performance from the lead actors.

Somewhere I should have Misplaced, of which I hold a faint memory. It's clear that you've spent some time on this review, which I find to be quite similar to the colorless ones from genre-specific sites: stereotypical phrases (the riff is very heavy, the chorus is catchy, the solo is fantastic, the melody gets stuck in your head in no time, chameleonic track...) with the use of absolute superlatives and micro-analysis of the pieces as if it were an album that will make music history. If you're interested, I would recommend not describing more than a couple of songs, avoiding mentioning all the names of the band members and songs (nobody cares about that), and trying to create a more vague piece (that captures the essence of their music), intriguing, personal, and brief. Regards.

It's a memorable film that I know almost by heart, and if it were to air on TV today, I would definitely watch it for a good handful of minutes. I find the two subsequent works even superior, attesting to the fact that their filmography, in the 90s/00s, has very few competitors when it comes to the frequency/quality ratio.

I read it just about a month ago. I really liked it, so I wanted to recommend it with this nice review, even though it has a sadness that fits all too well with the weather these days.

I liked this one but I never went into it deeper.
